New Release: Yocto Sumo v1.0 for iMX6 System on Modules

Variscite is pleased to inform about the new Yocto Sumo release for iMX6 System on Modules.
Modules: VAR-SOM-MX6, VAR-SOM-SOLO/DUAL and DART-MX6.
Release:  sumo-fslc-4.9.88-mx6-v1.0.

Noteworthy updates:

• sources/meta-variscite-fslc:
  • Upgraded the Linux kernel to NXP release 4.9.88
  • wictool support – replace the obsolete “sdcard” image type with the default “wic.gz” and remove the  redundant ext4 image type
  • Add support for NAND flash parts with eraseblock size of 256KiB 
  • wifi : Updated TI WiFi FW to 8.9.0.0.79
• sources/meta-browser:
  • chromium-x11: Upgraded to 67.0.3396.99
• sources/meta-qt5:
  • Qt: upgrade to 5.10.1
