The VAR-EXT-CB401 multimedia add-on board allows developers to leverage the VAR-SOM-OM44’s advanced multimedia capabilities.

With its integrated dual 5MP/1080p OV5640 CMOS sensors and two digital microphones it is ideal for both evaluation and application development. The VAR-EXT-CB401 interfaces with both the VAR-DVK-OM44 or VAR-OM44CustomBoard.

The VAR-EXT-CB401 allows developers to develop video capable applications such as VOIP and video conferencing on the VAR-DVK-OM44.With both Android and Linux support, the CB401 can support all VAR-SOM-OM44 developers.

Variscite Launches New SMARC SoM Lineup at Embedded World 2026
