Built for demanding edge applications, the VAR-SMARC-MX95 is a SMARC-compliance System on Module / Computer on Module featuring high-end graphics, advanced security and functional safety, AI/ML acceleration, and comprehensive high-speed connectivity.
The VAR-SMARC-MX95 runs on the NXP i.MX 95 SoC, whose energy flex architecture comprises heterogeneous processing units: up to 6 cores 2.0GHz Arm Cortex-A55 plus two independent real-time co-processors; 800MHz Arm Cortex-M7 and 333MHz Arm Cortex-M33. The heterogeneous design handles demanding workloads, real-time control, and efficient low-power operation.
The SoM interface and connectivity suite portfolio includes: certified Wi-Fi 6 dual-band 802.11ax/ac/a/b/g/n with optional 802.15.4 and Bluetooth/BLE 5.4, dual GbE with TSN support, an integrated NPU with 2 TOPS AI/ML acceleration, a powerful 2D/3D GPU, 4K displays, dual MIPI CSI2 camera, 4K encode/decode, USB 3.0, dual PCIe Gen 3.0, and industrial temperature grade support.
The VAR-SMARC-MX95 is part of Variscite's VAR-SMARC Pin2Pin product family, enabling a pin-compatible upgrade path across processors without carrier board redesign.
