The VAR-SOM-MX8 System on Module / Computer on Module offers advanced processing power, high-end graphics and UltraHD video capabilities.

The SoM includes a variety of interfaces and connectivity options: certified dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac/a/b/g/n, BT/BLE, dual GbE, dual USB3, PCIe, CAN FD, SPI and UART.

The SoM is pin-compatible with modules based on i.MX8X, i.MX8M, i.MX8M Mini, i.MX8M Nano and i.MX6. The ‘VAR-SOM’ Pin2Pin product family enables Variscite’s customers to scale up or down without redesigning.
