Carrier Boards

Variscite’s carrier boards, also known as baseboards or custom boards, serve as reference platforms for our System on Module (SoM) solutions. With advanced features and broad connectivity options, the combination of a SoM and its related carrier board provides full access to all SoM interfaces, enabling its use as a complete evaluation kit or development board. Each package includes a full set of drivers, Board Support Package (BSP), and software resources, with support for Linux, Android, QNX, Zephyr, and FreeRTOS. 

Our carrier boards are also ideal reference design for developing custom boards. Supplied with a complete set of design files (schematics, layout, and BOM), they simplify development and accelerate time to market. Designed with cost optimization in mind, the carrier boards can be adapted to customer requirements and used for both prototyping and mass production.
