New Release: Yocto Dunfell v1.0 for i.MX6 modules

Variscite is pleased to inform about the Yocto Dunfell release for its i.MX6 System on Modules.
Yocto Dunfell is the first Long Term Support (LTS) release of the Yocto Project.

Modules: DART-MX6, VAR-SOM-MX6, VAR-SOM-SOLO/DUAL

Release: dunfell-fslc-5.4-2.1.x-mx6-v1.0

Details:

• Filesystem:
  Yocto Dunfell (based on the FSL community BSP).
• Linux kernel:
  Variscite 5.4-2.1.x-imx_var01 branch (based on FSL community branch 5.4-2.1.x-imx, which is based on NXP’s Linux 5.4.24_2.1.0 release and the Linux mainline kernel 5.4.85).
• U-Boot:
  Variscite imx_v2018.03_4.14.78_1.0.0_ga_var02 branch (based on NXP branch imx_v2018.03_4.14.78_1.0.0_ga, which is based on U-Boot v2018.03).

Notes:

• Introduced support for VAR-SOM-MX6 and VAR-SOM-SOLO/DUAL on Symphony-Board >= v1.4
